Forensic locksmith expert (APFC) in Fuengirola & Málaga

I'm Santiago, a locksmith certified by the Professional Association of Forensic Locksmiths (APFC). I issue expert reports for courts, lawyers, insurers and property administrators. Over 10 years of experience in lock, burglary and manipulation forensics across the Costa del Sol.

What is a forensic locksmith expert?

A forensic locksmith expert is a specialist who puts their technical experience at the service of justice. My job is to analyse locks, doors, safes and security elements to issue expert reports with full legal guarantees.

These reports are accepted as evidence in civil and criminal trials, in insurance claims, in eviction proceedings, in burglary assessments, or in any procedure where you need to prove technically how a security system was forced, manipulated or installed.

As a locksmith certified by APFC (Professional Association of Forensic Locksmiths), my reports meet the legal standards required by judges, lawyers and insurance companies across the province of Málaga and the Costa del Sol.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does a locksmith expert report cost?
It varies with the complexity of the case, travel and whether court attendance is needed. As a reference: a standard report for a forced-lock insurance claim is usually between €250 and €500. Court cases with attendance are quoted separately. Always a fixed price before starting.
Will my report be accepted by the court?
Yes. As an APFC-certified locksmith, my reports meet the legal requirements to be presented as expert evidence in civil and criminal cases. If the other party requests ratification, I attend in person to defend the report.
How long until the report is ready?
A standard expert report is usually delivered in 3–7 days after the inspection. For urgent cases with a court deadline, I deliver it in 48 hours.
Do you work directly with insurers?
Yes. Insurers regularly contact me to inspect burglary, malicious-damage or theft claims. I also work for the policyholder when the company puts obstacles in the way of covering a claim.
Do you attend evictions and court-ordered openings?
Yes. I attend evictions, seizures and any court-ordered opening in Fuengirola, Mijas, Marbella, Benalmádena and the rest of Málaga. I carry out the technical opening and the subsequent lock change with a signed record.
